Employee of the Year: Tamara B.
Every year one employee is chosen that exemplifies outstanding service to our clients and displays the spirit that encompasses our Mission Statement: "To provide a trusted source of non-medical home care through a sense of professionalism, safety and community."
This year's recipient is Tamara B.. Below is an excerpt from the nomination submitted by her staffing coordinator:
"She is the model of what every FSHC caregiver should look like. Tamara has been working with us for just about 2 years. She has two very high level clients that she has worked with since the start of their care. She has worked 6 days a week for almost the duration of her employment traveling between clients many days and commuting hundreds of miles per week. She is extremely loyal and dedicated to her clients often going above and beyond what is expected without drawing any attention to what she does. She just does it because that's just her. Tamara has rarely ever called in sick in two years, is never late and will not hesitate to stay later on her own time to make sure her clients have everything they need. Tamara checks in regularly and updates her clients conditions. Her clients and their families love her and depend on her for her skills but also her compassionate companionship. She is someone they look forward to seeing everyday. Tamara is always cheery, personable and funny and makes me laugh whenever we talk."
