Cancer Prevention Month
January 25, 2024
February is National Cancer Prevention Month
National Cancer Prevention Month is a health event for increasing awareness of the different ways to prevent cancer. This is an important event because studies show that about one out of three Americans will develop cancer during their lifetime.
In the United States, many of the greatest reductions in cancer morbidity and mortality have been achieved through the implementation of effective public education and policy initiatives. Regular medical care will help diagnose cancer during its early stage, that is when it is highly curable. If you are suffering from health problems frequently, talk to your doctor about them.
