Calling the Office

When calling in, please make sure you state your name and who you are needing to be directed to. If we don’t know who’s calling, we are unable to transfer the call.

Clocking In/Clocking Out

Please remember to clock in and out through Telephony on your client's phone OR clock in and out of the mobile APP once you are INSIDE your client's home. If you use your personal phone to dial into Telephony OR you use your mobile APP outside of your client's home, you will have to switch to paper timesheets.

Familiar Surroundings Home Care Procedure for Caregiver or Client Injuries

1. Please call the office immediately if the caregiver or client has a fall or sustains an injury. Call (408) 979-9990 any time—we have an On Call person available after hours, weekends and holidays when the office is not open. If it is an emergency, call 911 first.

2. The caregiver will need to come to the office right away to fill out an Incident Report.

3. If the caregiver is to be seen by our Workers Compensation doctors, there is additional paperwork that will need to be filled out before being sent to the doctor. Caregivers are not allowed to see their own private doctor if the injury occurred on company time.

4. The administration will follow up with the caregiver and Workers Compensation doctors to make sure the caregiver is following the doctor’s instructions.

5. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office.
